I’m not sure if it’s a question meant to be answered, but “skookum as frig” is typed on this page. The term Skookum is used here in Washington State too, and is apparently derived from Salish coastal native languages. Skookum is meant to mean “strong”. In fact, of our seven seawater inlets in Southern Puget Sound, Totten Inlet was historically known by native peoples as “Big Skookum” and the adjacent smaller inlet known today as Little Skookum Inlet was called as just that – Little Skookum.
