I think of GNU as “GNU isn’t UNIX”. It’s an acronym that paired with “Buddy” describes the regular “Town Pump CNC” community member as like an open-source brain trust. Buddy GNU is just some fan on the “tinternets” that puts a dollar in the tip jar.
